Description

Tasty grilled pork tenderloin is quick and easy and tasty and yummy and delicious and …

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Pork Tenderloin
  • 1 whole Marinade Recipe Of Choice

Preparation

Mix all of the ingredients for marinade in a zip-top plastic bag and add the pork tenderloin, making sure to coat all sides in the bag.

Seal bag and let marinate, refrigerated, until ready to grill.

When ready to grill, preheat the grill to a medium high heat.

Place tenderloin on hot grill.

Sear 2 minutes, then turn tenderloin 1/4 (quarter) turn. Repeat every 2 minutes until all sides are seared.

Once all sides are seared, turn heat to low, close grill lid or cover with foil and cook until meat thermometer reads 145° F in the thickest part of the tenderloin.

Let tenderloin rest for about about 15 minutes before slicing.

Enjoy!

The recipe SOUNDS good, but the photo shows something either burned or overly caramelized from sugars in the marinate. Also there is no pre-heating on a charcoal grill or setting for medium high, nor turning the heat down. I’m sure it tastes good, but it’d probably be better not black(overly caramelized or burnt), a bit more pink inside, and smoked, not “gassed” into oblivion from propane.

The cooking technique on his was perfect. The rest time gave all the juices a chance to redistribute and when we cut into it the meat was a perfect shade of pink. I used In Sock Monkey Socks’ marinade recipe and was in heaven. Delicious!
