Description

Yummy fresh grilled salmon with a hint of crunchy grilled bread crumbs and caraway. This Dijon salmon with my “secret” salmon seasoning is sure to be one of your summertime favorites!

Ingredients

  • 8 pieces (Individual Portion) Salmon
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons Salmon Seasoning (or More To Taste)
  • ½ cups Bread Crumbs (or Crushed Crackers)
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • FOR THE SALMON SEASONING:
  • 4 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Celery Seed
  • 2 Tablespoons Caraway
  • 2 Tablespoons Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Corriander
  • 2 Tablespoons Black Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Mustard Powder

Preparation

Rinse and pat dry the salmon patties. Sprinkle with soy sauce, then spread with a light coating of Dijon mustard.

Mix all salmon seasoning ingredients together. This will be more than you need for this recipe.

Season fish with salmon seasoning. Grill on high (or bake at 450ºF) for about 10 minutes, until salmon is almost done.

Sprinkle bread crumbs (I like to used crushed Everything Crackers from Trader Joe’s) on top and drizzle with olive oil. Continue grilling (or broil) a few more minutes until the top is slightly crispy.

Serve with you favorite grilled veggies, salad or roasted potatoes.
