A perfect surf and turf burger with just the right amount of spice. A patty that contains cheddar cheese and spicy Sriracha sauce is topped with fried calamari. It’s really good.

As a new mom this dish is on our dinner rotation once every other week or so. But you don’t have to be a new mom to enjoy how simple it is!
Meredith is a Texas ranch girl who transitioned from a graphic designer to a full-time stay-at-home mom and full-fledged blogger. Her blog In Sock Monkey Slippers is full of mouthwatering recipes and beautiful photographs. Her daughter Mia, aka "feisty little bear," is the inspiration behind her blog. Go see her recipe box and try to resist dreaming about all the food you see there. (It just ain't possible.)
Ever wondered why Brenda calls her blog A Farmgirl's Dabbles? You guessed it: She was raised on a farm. This South Dakota girl combines the traditions of her mom and grandma with modern food ideas, and every recipe she shares is approved by her husband and two girls. Her photography is amazing, too, as is her creativity in the kitchen. Go check out her recipe box and see for yourself!

I cannot WAIT to try this! I make my grandma’s Hungarian Goulash (and will someday post the recipe) — it drives me nuts when people make “Hungarian Goulash” with tomatoes and ground beef….and add sour cream! None of those are in authentic Hungarian Goulash!

I learned how to make this from my mother, who is from Mississippi. But I didn’t know it was called Goulash. I like to add garlic also. It’s very good.

I tried this recipe last night & we all liked it very much. I didn’t put all the pepper it called for (8 tsp would have been way too much for my 5, 3, & 1 year old), but otherwise followed the recipe. Very filling & great with the mashed potatoes!

My boyfriend lived in Prague over the summer and ate goulash almost every night. Since then I have been searching for an authentic recipe to satiate his cravings. I will definitely be trying this one; thanks a bunch!
