Description

This started out being a sauce that was going to accompany my steak. Lo and behold it tasted so great that it became the main staple and the steak was just added for colour.

Ingredients

  • 1-¼ cup Milk
  • 3 whole Slices Of Wheat Bread, Crusts Removed
  • 1 whole Hard Boiled Egg, Chopped
  • ¼ cups Herbed Goat Cheese, Crumbled
  • 1 clove Garlic, Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • ¼ cups Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Cracked Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 cups Cooked Egg Noodles

Preparation

Simmer milk in a saucepan. Once it’s heated, pour it into a blender. Add bread and process until combined. Add the egg, goat cheese, garlic and mustard. Process just until blended. While blender is still running, gradually add oil and lemon juice; process until smooth.

Transfer sauce to a medium saucepan. Season to taste with pepper and salt. It will gradually thicken as you simmer on low to medium heat.

Meanwhile, prepare your steak (or other whatever will accompany your noodles) to your liking.

Also prepare your egg noodles according to package, making enough for 4 servings. Toss the sauce with the noodles and serve over or beside the rest of your meal – enjoy.
