Cook gnocchi according to package instructions. Or make your own homemade. While the gnocchi is cooking, melt the butter with the thyme in a non-stick skillet. Once melted, turn heat down to low and continue to cook until the butter turns brown.
When the gnocchi is done, use a slotted spoon to drain it and put it in the skillet with the butter and thyme. Toss and cook for 1 minute.
Pour entire contents of skillet into a serving bowl. Top with parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
