Description

Delicious combo of Asian ingredients over pasta.

Ingredients

  • 5 ounces, fluid Mastaciolli Pasta Or Other Penne
  • 1 head Broccoli
  • 8 ounces, fluid Salmon Fillet
  • 2 teaspoons Diced Ginger
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 4 Tablespoons Butter
  • ¼ cups Soy Sauce
  • 1 whole Lemon
  • 1 Tablespoon Pink Pickled Ginger (optional)

Preparation

Prepare pasta. When pasta is half-cooked, add the broccoli spears and cook until tender. Drain and set aside.

Cube salmon fillet and pan fry with the diced ginger and garlic in hot, oiled pan. Set aside.

Melt butter and pour half into each serving bowl. Add half the soy sauce to each serving bowl.

Slice the pink jarred ginger and also add to the bowls.

Add the pasta, broccoli and salmon to each bowl and mix thoroughly. Slice lemon in half and squeeze half over each bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Yummy!
I only had 2 salmon filets, which ended up being the right amount for my family of 4. Intead of broccoli, I used zuchinni and yellow squash. We think it’d be great with pine nuts or cashews on top!
Also, I used fresh ginger and just cooked it with the other veggies. After the salmon and pasta were done, I combined it all together in the pan and then served.
