This was just delicious! I was sad when it was gone. I’d like to find a way to make it a little bit healthier but then it probably won’t be as delicious, right?

I was really excited to try this, and not entirely disappointed – however, my boyfriend and I found it a bit too salty (probably because of the soy sauce we used) and not as sweet as the kind we get when we’re out.

This was very good! I used my wok for both the frying of the chicken and making the sauce. I would definitely make this again. Thanks for the recipe!

For such a labor intensive dish I expected something delicious. The flavor was just off. When frying the chicken the batter stuck to the bottom of the pan which I was able to fix. We will not be making this again.

I’ve made this recipe a few times and really enjoy it. I’d much rather have this than takeout! If I’m in a hurry I’ve tried subbing Trader Joe’s Tempura Chicken (without the sauce packet) and just tossing it in the sauce which turned out nicely. Otherwise I think this is a great recipe exactly as written. Thanks a lot!

Made this last night and it was VERY yummy! although I must have done something wrong in the first step to coat the chicken, mine was way to thick/dry and had to add more soy sauce to be able to coat the chicken
