Description

This is the best chicken I’ve ever had! It’s tender, juicy, crunchy, bacon-y, cheesy and a little spicy! It’s amazing!

Ingredients

  • 4 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 ounce, fluid Lemon Juice (1 Ounce Is Equivalent To About 2 To 3 Tablespoons)
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ½ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Cayenne Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoons Lemon Pepper
  • 4 whole Boneless Chicken Breasts
  • 4 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Cut In 1/2-inch Slices
  • 4 pieces Fully Cooked Bacon
  • 2 slices Cheddar Cheese, Cut In Half
  • ½ cups Italian Bread Crumbs
  • ¼ cups Parmesan Cheese, Shredded
  • ¼ cups Shredded Mozzarella

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 F.

In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Remove from heat and add lemon juice and spices. Stir and set aside.

Using a sharp knife, butterfly each chicken breast (slice the chicken horizontally through the middle, but make sure you don’t cut all the way through). Put a slice of cream cheese, a slice of bacon and half a slice of cheddar onto one of the sides of the chicken. Then fold the other side over and press closed.

In a small bowl, combine bread crumbs and parmesan. Dip both sides of the chicken in the butter sauce and then cover it well with bread crumbs. Place the chicken in a greased baking dish and top with mozzarella. Bake for 30 minutes. Serve with a salad or over pasta.

Enjoy! You just made the best chicken ever!
