Description

Cream sauce: one of the best word combos in the English language. Add pasta and roasted green beans to heighten the tastiness.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Green Beans (mine Were Frozen)
  • ½ teaspoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Flour
  • ¼ cups Milk
  • 2 Tablespoons Crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Parmesan Cheese
  • Salt And Pepper
  • 1 cup Cooked Fettuccine

Preparation

1. Preheat oven to 450ºF. Thaw green beans if frozen, pat dry, and toss with olive oil. Spread on a baking sheet and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Roast for 15-20 minutes, or until toasty and blistered looking.
2. Meanwhile, heat the butter in a small pot over medium heat. Add flour and let cook for 1 minute. Reduce heat to medium-low and gradually stir in the milk, whisking constantly to prevent lumps. Let cook for about 5 minutes, or until thickened.
3. Add both cheeses to the sauce and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Allow cheese to melt, then toss in the cooked pasta and roasted green beans. Pour into a serving bowl and top with more cheese, if desired.
