Description

Easy chicken and stuffing recipe. I make this for my hubby but usually eat it all myself.

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Your Favorite Cut Of Chicken (I Like To Use The Breast)
  • 1 can Cream Of Whatever Soup (I Like Cream Of Chicken But Cream Of Mushroom Is Really Good Too)
  • 1 box Stovetop Stuffing Mix
  • Milk
  • Favorite Seasonings
  • Butter

Preparation

-Set oven to 350

-Coat a casserole dish with a thin layer of butter to prevent the stuffing from sticking.

-Mix most of the stuffing (save a handful to top the chicken), 2/3 of the cream of whatever soup and 1/2 cup of milk in a bowl.

-Evenly spread the mixture in the casserole dish.

-Mix the remainder of the soup mix and 1/2 milk mix together. Add favorite seasonings.

-Dip chicken in the mixture then set on the stuffing.

-Spoon the soup/milk mixture over the chicken.

-Coat chicken with remaining stuffing crumbs.

-Cover with foil and put in oven for 40 minutes

-Take off foil and bake for another 10 minutes

-Enjoy!!

**I like to spread the chicken out a little bit so I get a big bite of stuffing with every bite of chicken.

I made this last night and it was very good…however, next time I am going to double the “gravy” on top. My stuffing dried out a bit and coulda used some help but this was really easy to do and the house smelled divine! Thanks for posting!
