Shrimp with Honey Jalapeño Sauce is a lightly battered tempura shrimp that is paired with a drizzle of honey infused with garlic, onion and spicy jalapeños. Sweet, spicy, delightful.

Very tasty and super easy to prepare. My whole family loved this dish. *I did not have the spices listed and just used complete seasoning on the chops.

Soooo yummy…we used pork steaks *they were on sale!* We also threw a bag of frozen peas into it. But, still incredibly good…now I’ve got some kind of crazy need to try all different varieties! Thanks for this, my six year old even loved it!

I’m glad you liked it! I’ve used all different kinds of pork chops, bone-in, boneless, and pork steak as well. They’ve all turned out great. Personally I prefer bone-in. It seems to have more flavor and be a little moister. This recipe has never turned out dry though which is one of my fav things about it.

The rice part of this dish was very good, but my pork chops (about 1 inch thick; bone-in) came out way overdone (185 degrees!). That was disappointing. My kids still liked it, but I just ate the rice.

Cajun spice, garlic salt, and black pepper. And I chose to brown the chops in 2 tbsp of butter instead of the veggie oil.
