Description

Baked chicken pieces with breadcrumbs or potato chips!

Ingredients

  • 2 whole Chicken Breasts
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1-½ cup Flour
  • 2 Tablespoons Seasoned Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Seasonings/spices (your Choice)
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs (I Used Seasoned) Or Cereal Or Potato Chips

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400F.

Cut up the chicken into 1-1/2 inch strips.

Combine egg and milk.

Place chicken pieces in the milk and egg mixture; set aside.

On a plate (I like to use a pie dish, actually), combine flour and spices. The amounts I listed are approximates. Use more or less according to how much chicken you’re cooking.

You’ll be cooking the chicken on a rack (over a baking sheet), so get that ready because you’ll use it in between dips.

Take the pieces of chicken from the milk and egg mixture, the roll them around in the flour and spices mixture. Place chicken pieces on the baking rack.

Once all pieces have been floured, get the breadcrumbs or crushed up potato chips or slightly crushed cereal. I used garlic parmesan-flavored chips; they added another layer of flavor. :)

Now take the pieces of chicken and dip them into the milk and egg mixture again. Then roll them in the bread crumbs (or potato chips or cereal). Place chicken back onto the baking rack.

Once all pieces have been dipped and rolled again and are back on the baking rack, cook the chicken for approximately 20 minutes. Your time will vary depending on how large your chicken pieces are.

Enjoy!
