Summer is officially here after you’ve had fresh new baby potatoes from the garden with creamed chicken. It’s a little bit of heaven on your plate. It’s not, however, for those wanting a lean diet.
Mix flour, salt, and pepper together, add chicken pieces and coat evenly. Brown the chicken in the butter on low heat. Add water, onion, and garlic. Cook on low heat for 40 minutes. Blend the flour and cream in a bowl, mix in the dill. Now whisk into the chicken in the skillet. Make sure you get any little bits that have stuck to the bottom, this gives you that great flavor. Heat thoroughly but don’t let it boil. Remove from heat and serve with fresh new baby potatoes.
