Description

A quick and easy dinner that only uses 5 ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 40 ounces, weight Bag Of Tater Tots
  • 1 cup Diced Onion
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 16 ounces, fluid Can Of Condensed Cream Of Mushroom Soup
  • 8 ounces, weight Bag Of Shredded Cheese

Preparation

1. Bake tater tots according to package instructions.

2. While the tater tots are cooking, saute diced onions in a skillet until they are translucent.

3. Then add ground beef to pan and brown.

4. Drain the grease from the beef/onions and return the mixture to pan.

5. Add the can of soup to the beef mixture. Cook long enough to thoroughly incorporate soup into beef.

6. Dump beef mixture into a casserole dish of your choice.

7. Sprinkle a little cheese over the top (use as much as you want – but you’re going to add another layer of cheese in a minute).

8. Top casserole with the cooked tater tots by placing them in rows (touching) across the entire pan.

9. Use the rest of the bag of cheese over the top.

10. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes. Let it sit for a good 5-10
minutes prior to serving.

This is a yummy and easy dinner to fix on those nights that you’re looking for something quick and comforting. I’ve made it for years and we’ve always called it Tator Tot Casserole.
