Description

Cook this meatloaf in the crockpot and your house will smell divine all day long! Moist, easy and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Meatloaf Mix
  • 1 package (about 1 Oz. Packet) Lipton Onion Soup
  • 1 cup Italian Bread Crumbs
  • 1  Egg
  • Splash Milk
  • 2 Tablespoons Ketchup
  • 2 teaspoons Chopped Parsley (or Flakes)
  • Sprinkle Pepper
  • ¼ cups Bacon Bits
  • 1 can (11 1/2 Oz. Size) V8 Juice

Preparation

In large bowl, mix meatloaf mix, onion soup mix, bread crumbs, egg, a splash of milk, ketchup, parsley, and pepper. Use your hands. They will freeze. It’s all part of the meatloaf-making experience.

Mold into desired loaf. Place in crockpot and sprinkle top with bacon bits. Use as much as desired.

Pour V8 juice over top of meatloaf. Continue to pour until meatloaf is halfway immersed in V8 Juice.

Place lid on crockpot and bake 4 1/2 to 5 hours. I usually monitor the meatloaf and adjust the setting if needed. I bake it on high for 4 hours and then set the crockpot to low for the last 1/2 to 1 hour.
