Description

A quick and easy recipe (and unlike those little boxes of packaged mix with the shells, you can actually identify all of the ingredients)!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Skim Milk
  • 1 can Evaporated Milk, 12 Oz Can
  • 1 teaspoon Dry Mustard Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Pepper
  • 16 ounces, weight Block Of Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • 16 ounces, weight Uncooked Elbow Macaroni Noodles

Preparation

1. Spray a medium sized crockpot with cooking spray.

2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together milk, evaporated milk, mustard powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.

3. Pour milk mixture into the crockpot. Add cheese and uncooked macaroni. Stir gently to mix.

4. Turn crockpot on low and cook 2-3 hours, or until the macaroni is tender. Serve immediately.

Notes:

– Do not cook this for more than 4 hours, or it will dry out.
– Remember, a 16 ounce block of cheese, shredded is more than 16 ounces of shredded cheese (bagged)!
