Easy and budget-friendly meal that kids will love. Much better than any boxed mac and cheese.
Boil pasta for only 6 minutes (because we don’t want to overcook the pasta). Then drain it and set aside.
In a saucepan over low heat, mix butter and shredded cheese. Mix until cheese is fully melted. Mix in cheddar cheese soup then remove from heat.
Spray crockpot with nonstick cooking spray. Combine cheese mixture, sour cream, salt, milk, dry mustard and pepper in the crock. Add pasta and stir it. Stir it like you mean it. Cook on low for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Stir regularly and do not overcook.
