Description

Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin so tender, it falls apart. The best part is it’s a crock pot recipe.

Ingredients

  • ½ cups Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • 3 teaspoons Fresh Grated Ginger (I Use Dorot Freshly Frozen)
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Crushed Garlic (I Use Dorot Freshly Frozen)
  • 3 pounds To 4 Pounds Pork Tenderloin (I Use The 2-pack From Costco)

Preparation

In the insert of a crock pot, place the soy sauce and brown sugar and mix well. Pop in the ginger and garlic and stir.

Add the pork tenderloin and turn to coat with the sauce.

Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours, flipping the meat halfway through the cooking. Pork is done when it falls apart when trying to move it around.

I served this with fried rice. Yum. It makes great shredded teriyaki pork sandwiches, too.

Serves 6-8. Enjoy!

Notes:
I’m not sure if all crock pots cook the same, that is why there is a variance in cooking time. I have a brand new one and it is awesome and cooks really hot on high. So just make sure you check to see if the pork is tender before serving.
Check out your local grocery freezer section for the Dorot frozen herbs, garlic, and ginger. They are wonderful!

My family liked it, but I only had powdered ginger. Think I’ll try it again with fresh ginger. Keep up the good work! :)

I didn’t have any kind of ginger so I just left it out and it was still great. I bet it’s even better with fresh ginger. Also used the Costco two pack tenderloin. It’s enough to feed my big family with a little for hubbys lunch the next day.

Simple yet tasty. I had to use powdered ginger since I didn’t have any fresh.
