Description

Chili like soup, topped with your favorite taco toppings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Hamburger
  • 2 whole Onions, Diced
  • 3 stalks Celery, Diced
  • 1 carton 48 Oz Chicken Broth
  • 2 cans 16 Oz Cans, Diced Tomatoes With Juice
  • 1 jar 16 Oz Salsa
  • 1 can 10 Oz. Cream Of Mushroom Soup
  • 4 cans 10 Oz Cans, Your Favorite Chili
  • 1-½ cup Frozen Corn
  • 1 envelope Taco Seasoning, 1 Ounce Packet
  • 2 boxes Spanish Rice Mix (Rice-A-Roni Type), Plus Additional Ingredients Specified On Box, 6 Ounce Boxes
  • Garnishes: Your Favorite Taco Toppings, Fritos Or Other Corn Chips

Preparation

Brown hamburger, onion, and celery on stovetop over medium heat until hamburger is cooked through and onions and celery are soft. Drain grease, add the hamburger mixture to your 6 to 7 quart crock pot, then add all the remaining ingredients to the crock pot (everything, that is, except for the Rice-a-Roni and the garnishes). Cook for 4 to 6 hours on low.

When you are about ready to serve it, prepare Spanish rice as directed on the package. Once it’s complete, mix rice into soup for the last 10 minutes.

Serve in bowls with your favorite taco toppings including Frito’s or corn chips.
