Description

Flavorful shredded beef burritos.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds Rump Roast
  • 1 can Diced Tomatoes With Chilis, 10 Oz.
  • 1 whole Yellow Or White Onion, Roughly Chopped
  • 1 package Taco Seasoning

Preparation

1. Cover all sides of rump roast with taco seasoning, rubbing the seasoning in.

2. Put the roast in the crock pot, adding the can of chilis and chopped onion. Turn the crock pot on low, put the lid on and take off. Go to work, go get a pedi and see a movie, whatever!

3. Eight to ten hours later, remove the roast from the crock. Shred roast into chunks with two forks. Put the shredded meat back in to the crock pot and stir in the reduced tomato sauce. Let simmer for about 20-30 minutes.

4. Serve with tortillas, refried beans, and all your favorite burrito fixin’s.

Testimonial from my 9 year old daughter after eating these, “Thanks Mommy for making a GREAT supper”. Trust me that doesn’t happen very often
So easy and so delicious, will definitely be added to the rotation. Thanks for the recipe!
