Creamy mild italian sauce over chicken. Wonderfully easy and super tasty.
Mix the sour cream and Italian dressing together and set aside. It will taste strong prior to cooking but will be a very mellow mild taste after it cooks. Pound your chicken breast to a more uniform size. This helps the chicken cook more evenly and stay moist.
Shortcut recipe: put chicken in the casserole dish, top with sauce and bake at 350ºF until the chicken is done, about 20 minutes.
Long but tastier way: brown the chicken in a bit of butter for 2 minutes on each side prior to putting them in the casserole dish; top with the sauce and bake.
