Description

This delicious pasta is FULL of flavor and has an amazing aftertaste. This is a crowd pleaser and is definitely on my family’s frequent dinner menu list!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces, weight Linguine Pasta, Cooked And Drained
  • 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
  • 4 teaspoons Cajun Seasoning, Or More As Needed, Divided
  • 9 whole Chicken Breast Tenderloins
  • 3 whole Green Onions
  • 1 cup Whipping Cream
  • 1 cup Low Fat Milk
  • 4 Tablespoons Chopped Sun Dried Tomatoes
  • ½ teaspoons Dried Basil
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Ground Black Pepper
  • ½ Tablespoons Flour, If Needed To Thicken Sauce
  • ½ cups Parmesan Cheese

Preparation

1. Cook pasta per directions on package. Drain. Once cooked, set aside in a large pot.
2. Put a bit of olive oil in a skillet and cover the bottom of the skillet with some cajun seasoning, about 2 teaspoons. Put chicken on the skillet and add more cajun seasoning (about 1 teaspoon) on top. Sauté in your skillet until chicken is fully cooked.
3. Once chicken is cooked, remove and chop into small bite-sized pieces. Add back to skillet. Chop green onions.
3. In the skillet add chopped green onion, cream, milk, tomatoes, basil, salt, garlic powder, pepper and heat until it bubbles. Add another teaspoon or so of cajun spice. (If your mixture is not getting thick, add 1/2 tablespoon flour.)
4. Add the creamy mixture to the pasta and heat until thick. Add the parmesan cheese slowly. This could take 5 minutes to fully thicken.
5. Serve, eat and forever change your life.

Delicious! I used sun-dried tomato pesto due to what I had on hand. As well as, 2 tablespoons cream cheese and a little bottled alfredo sauce. A must try!!!

Really good! I added roasted asparagus and cut back on the cajun seasoning by half and it still had plenty of flavor. Thanks for sharing.

I made this for dinner tonight and we LOVED it!! Both my husband and I thought it was as tasty as any cajun chicken pasta we’ve eaten in a restaurant. It was very easy to make and the sauce thickened up perfectly. Thanks for sharing a great recipe that will go into our regular dinner rotation.
