Description

The perfect easy, healthy dinner for Halloween night, or any other busy, cold evening! The flavors are mild enough for children to enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1-½ pound Ground Turkey Meat
  • 1 whole Small White Onion, Chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Pink Himalayan Salt Or To Taste
  • ½ teaspoons Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Organic Garlic Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Organic Paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Dried Oregano
  • 1 Tablespoon Organic Chili Powder
  • 1 cup Canned Organic Pumpkin
  • 2 cups Chopped Carrots
  • 2 cans (15 Oz. Size) Organic Kidney Beans, Include Liquid
  • 2 cans (15 Oz. Size) Organic Great Northern Beans, Include Liquid
  • 1 can (15 Oz. Size) Organic Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Red Wine
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese (optional)
  • 1 cup Chopped Green Onions

Preparation

Combine all of the ingredients except the cheese and onions in a 6-quart slow cooker. Place the turkey meat on the bottom to ensure it gets fully cooked. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours. If you like tiny chunks of meat, you can chop it up at the beginning. If you prefer large chunks, break up the turkey after it’s cooked.

Serve topped with the cheese and onions. Enjoy!

Beans are healthy and filling. I love to find creative ways to serve them!
