A hearty but healthy meat sauce made with bacon and ground turkey over whole wheat pasta. A quick and easy weeknight meal!
Cook pasta according to package directions. In a deep pan, saute chopped bacon for 5 minutes in olive oil, until slightly crispy. Remove from pan. Cook ground turkey until no longer pink. Add minced garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and sugar. Cook for 10 minutes on medium low heat, stirring occasionally. Serve over pasta. Top with cheese if desired.
