Description

This is the first time I ever had corned beef and it was so tender, full of flavor and easy to make. Just toss it in the crockpot, turn it on low and let the crockpot do the rest. A perfect St. Patrick’s Day meal!

Ingredients

  • 3-½ pounds Corned Beef
  • 1 cup Onion, Chopped
  • 1 head Cabbage, Roughly Chopped

Preparation

In a crockpot, add corned beef, onions and cabbage. Add enough water to cover the top.

Cook in a slow cooker for on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 4-5 hours.

Serving size: 4 ounces. Makes 14 servings.

This is my favorite way to do corned beef. It always comes out just perfect in the crock pot. I will also add Carrots and potatoes in the pot too! Its a terrific “Set it and forget it” one pot wonder! :)
