Chop lobster meat. Leave claw meat whole because it presents better this way. Mix lobster meat, mayo, lemon juice, and salt and pepper in a medium-sized bowl. Chill.
Slather butter on buns and grill face down in a frying pan until golden brown. Lay lettuce on top of grilled buns and pile lobster meat on top. Devour.
