This is very deliciouse!
Soak the plums in 3/4 cup water for half an hour.
Place chicken in a pan, cut up butter and add it with onion, soaked plums, salt, pepper, sugar and garlic to the pan.
Pour enough water over them to cover everything.
Bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer covered for 1 hour till chicken is tender and juices are reduced to 1 cup. Then, flip the chicken joints and simmer uncovered till they are golden.
Serve with cooked plain rice or French Fries.
