This is an easy weeknight dinner or can be used for a fancier get-together. Very tasty and made with ingredients already in your pantry. My mom shared the written recipe with me when I got married – it’s a family favorite! Prepare ahead of time, set the oven on “delay start”, and it will be ready when you get home from church or work!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix sour cream, mushroom soup, mushrooms, sherry, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
Place chicken breasts in a 9×13 rectangular baking dish.
Pour sour cream and soup mixture over the chicken breasts. Sprinkle with paprika.
Bake for 1 and 1/2 hours at 350 degrees F, covered with foil.
Serve over rice with a cooked vegetable or salad.
