This dish is fabulous-crunchy and tender and creamy all in one bite!! My daughter also made this with gluten-free all purpose flour and said it was equally amazing.

DELISH! The exact words out of my husband’s mouth “I love the Pioneer Woman” He then thanked me for making it.
It was so easy to whip up and even though I didn’t have a single tenderized piece of meat I made do by pulverizing the steaks that I had.
We had a bunch of leftovers and the steaks rehaeted very well!!!

Made this the other night. Definately recommend tenderizing the cubbed meat extra. I am not a huge fan of pepper, so I held off on lots of pepper. This was recipe is DEVINE. There were no leftovers. Yes, that good!

Oh My Goodness!!!
I should never have made this because now, I’m addicted.
I made if for when my cousin was coming to dinner honest to God we didn’t say anything but “This is AMAZING!” the entire time lol.
Try it you’ll love it.

Didn’t have steak when this recipe was blogged,so I made it with pounded-thin chicken breasts. It turned out wonderfully crisp and the gravy was so tasty.

I guess I wouldn’t make a good country woman because my gravy lacked flavor. I had quite a lot of browned bits but it didn’t seem to help. I will try again. The meat was darned good though.

Delicious! I used cajun seasoning for the dredging flour, and it was perfect. My only problem is that the breading didn’t come out crispy, but then I’ve never had success with flour-based breadings. I’ll try panko next time, or adding cornstarch to the flour mixture.

Made this last night and it was just okay, nothing special though. But, it was also the first fried thing that we have had in a really long time, and I can definitely tell our taste buds have changed. Unfortunate, since I dont know what else to do with cube steak.

This was absolutely yummy. My husband has had a craving for it ever since he saw it on one of the episodes Ree did for the Food Network. It definitely hit the spot.

Better than I remember from my Texas days! My four men give this an enthusiastic thumbs up. Me too! Served it with mashed potatoes, broc spears and Texas toast…that’s “The Bread” with a little garlic sprinked on top.
