Description

This is a perfect lunch or dinner for company: warm and toasty crescents with a cranberry chicken filling. Super easy and delish!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (12.5 Oz. Size) All White Meat Chicken Or 2 Boneless, Skinless Breasts, Boiled And Shredded
  • 1-¼ cup Shredded Swiss Cheese, Divided
  • ½ cups Celery, Diced
  • ½ cups Craisins Or Dried Cranberries
  • ½ cups Mayonnaise (I Only Use Best Foods)
  • 2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • 2 containers (8 Oz. Tube) Crescent Rolls
  • 1  Egg White, Beaten

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375ºF.

In a bowl combine the chicken, 1 cup of the cheese, celery, cranberries, mayonnaise, mustard, salt and pepper. Mix well and set aside.

On a round baking stone or a large baking sheet lined with parchment, place the crescent rolls in the shape of a sunflower.

Scoop the filling evenly in a circle closest to the inside edge. Bring the point of the crescent up and over the filling and tuck under to seal.

Brush with egg white and sprinkle with remaining cheese.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked all the way through.

Serves 8. Enjoy!

Note: recipe may be easily halved to serve less people.
