Description

A juicy twist on an old school classic.

Ingredients

  • FOR THE CHICKEN CAESAR BURGERS:
  • 1 pound Ground Chicken
  • 2 Tablespoons Caesar Dressing, Plus More To Serve
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste
  • 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 4 whole Brioche Hamburger Buns
  • Romaine Lettuce, Garnish
  • FOR THE PARMESAN CRISPS:
  • ½ cups Parmesan, Grated

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400ºF.

For the chicken Caesar burger:
In a bowl, combine chicken, Caesar dressing, salt and pepper. Form into hamburger patties.

Preheat a skillet to medium-high heat and melt butter. Add burgers and cook for about 5 minutes on the first side. Flip, and then continue to cook for another 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from heat and let the chicken burgers rest before serving.

To serve, place chicken patty on a brioche bun, top with Parmesan crisp, lettuce, a little more Caesar dressing, and top with brioche bun.

For the Parmesan crisps:
Place about 2 tablespoons of the Parmesan on a silicone baking mat. Repeat process until all the Parmesan has been used. Make sure to space the crisps about 1 inch apart. Bake in the preheated 400ºF oven for about 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from oven and let the crisps cool before handling.

Great idea! SO simple! We’ve done this twice now with both ground chicken and ground turkey (though I didn’t much care of the texture of the ground chicken).

We actually grilled these! It makes them slightly healthier, plus grilling just adds that extra “oomph” that grilling will do having that open flame on the burger.

The Parmesan crisps really made an extra special touch! Never thought about doing something like that…and SURPRISINGLY EASY! I don’t own a silicone mat yet, so I used parchment paper instead and it worked out really well too.

Thoroughly enjoyed having another healthy burger option in my rotation! Thanks!

Delicious! I’ve been looking for different ways to spruce up our burgers and this recipe was a hit. Loved the caesar dressing in the burgers. We’ll definitely be making this more this summer. Thanks for sharing such a great recipe!
