So, YES, you need to cook the chicken first because it's most certainly not done in 20 minutes, even in a shallow dish. I also cut it into cubes and it still didn't cook in 20 minutes.

I made this recently and it was a hit at our house! I made the recipe exactly as directed (I used the sour cream version.) I think you do have to cook the chicken first given the instructions on how long to bake. I would definitely make this again and for our taste, I would probably add another can of green chillis, more corn and more salsa (probably more sour cream as well.) Great taste!!

This was a great recipe, especially if you use it as a base idea and add on! I used leftover Mexican rice, black beans and cooked chicken breast I had on hand, which made for a super quick dinner. I followed the recipe except for adding corn tortillas and enchilada sauce. Awesome, thanks!

This was really yummy. I added diced tomatoes and avocado to the top which really upped the yum factor. The only complaint my husband had was that it needed some more texture to it so he ate it with tortilla chips which was really good. This would be really good in a tortilla as well.

I thought this was great as is. Mine didn't turn out dry at all (I used sour cream), though I might have added a bit flavor with taco seasoning or something else. But overall, a really good recipe and healthy too!

This was a huge hit with the family! I'm making it again tonight for friends & serving a side salad & Margarita's. I left out the chilis & added a side dish of jalepeno's for those that like it HOT! Super easy & going to try it with the eggs like Mrsadams2007 did. Thanks!

This was great. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because it needed some more seasoning. I added some cumin. I also used quinoa instead of rice because I had it on hand and I'm always looking for ways to use it. Will make this again!
