Description

A quick and easy combination of noodles, beef and cheese! I use 1/2 of a package of mild taco seasoning (you could use more for additional “zip”).

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 12 ounces, weight Egg Noodles
  • 16 ounces, fluid Tomato Sauce
  • ½ packages (about 1 Oz. Packet) Taco Seasoning
  • 3 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Shredded

Preparation

Brown and drain ground beef.
Cook egg noodles according to package. Drain.
Mix beef, tomato sauce and taco seasoning.
Spread noodles in a 9×13 pan.
Spread beef mixture over noodles. Stir slightly.
Cover with cheese.
Bake at 350F for 20 minutes or until warmed through.

I thought this was a great, quick dish when the craving for Mexican food strikes! I added black beans and hominy to the dish. Next time I may trade the tomato sauce for enchilada sauce. Great recipe!
