Description

Super easy, kid and husband friendly, and just yummy.

Ingredients

  • 6 strips Cooked Bacon
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 whole Chopped Onion, Small
  • 1 can (about 14 Oz.) Refigerated Pizza Dough
  • 2 Tablespoons BBQ Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Ketchup
  • 1 Tablespoon Mustard
  • 8 ounces, weight Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation

1. Prepare bacon so that it’s still bendable (or cheat and buy the precooked stuff, like me).

2. Brown ground beef and chopped onion in a skillet.

3. Combine cooked ground beef and onion with BBQ sauce, ketchup, mustard, salt and pepper. (Feel free to mix up the sauce to your liking. I change the amounts depending on how I’m feeling that day.)

4. Roll out pizza dough on a greased jelly roll pan.

5. Spread the beef mixture over the dough, leaving space around all the edges.

6. Stagger bacon strips across the surface.

7. Top with shredded cheese. Lots of it.

8. Roll dough lengthwise (so it’s a long tube when done).

9. Bake at the recommended temperature for pizza dough for 17-20 minutes.

10. Slice and serve!

Really good but have to agree with Alexis on either cooking longer or maybe even cooking the crust for a few mins before rolling up as the center dough did not cook all the way on mine but it was still really tasty. I will definitely be trying this one again.

Very good – would recommend rolling it the wide way though to make sure the dough in the center gets cooked too. I had to bake it an extra 15 minutes to get it cooked all the way through.
