Description

This is an easy to assemble, startlingly good chicken breast dish. It is a stress-free entrée to a romantic dinner (note: no garlic present). It is sure to catch you a man.

Ingredients

  • 4 whole Large Chicken Breasts (You Can Use Frozen!))
  • 1 package Smoked Turkey Bacon
  • 2 cans (10 3/4 Oz. Can) Cream Of Chicken Soup
  • 16 ounces, weight Sour Cream (You Can Use Fat-Free)
  • 1 pinch Salt And Pepper, to taste

Preparation

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

Lightly oil a large baking dish (large enough to place chicken breasts flat on the dish). Generously wrap turkey bacon around the chicken breasts, slightly overlapping pieces.

Place fully wrapped chicken, bacon side up (sometimes the bacon won’t fit all around the breast—if so, put exposed breast side down on the dish). Fit all of them in the dish—snugly is okay, but overlapping is not.

Mix the soup and sour cream well and add cracked pepper if desired. Pour the mixture over the wrapped breasts. Cover the baking dish snugly with aluminum foil. Bake in the oven for 3 hours. Pure fabulousness!

Serve over rice, noodles or just eat the delicious sauce with a spoon.

* Warning: be careful about adding salt to this dish. With the bacon, soup, and sour cream mixture, you do not really require additional salt.

I’m not a huge fan of turkey bacon, have you ever made it with real bacon?

This was the first meal I cooked for my husband while we were dating. We’ve been married for 8 years now. I guess it really works!
