Description

These are super yummy and fun chicken fingers that are breaded with Cap’n Crunch cereal! The cereal adds a sweet-ish taste to the chicken and is a big hit with kids of all ages! These are very similar to the entree on Planet Hollywood’s menu, too. Delicious!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Cap'n Crunch Cereal
  • 1-½ cup Cornflakes
  • ¾ cups Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Dry Minced Onions
  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic, Coarsely Ground
  • ½ teaspoons Fresh Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons Milk
  • 16 whole Defrosted Frozen Chicken Tenders
  • Oil For Cooking

Preparation

Breading:
Beat the cereals in a plastic bag until they are fine crumbs.

Flour mix:
1. Combine flour, onions, garlic and pepper in a shallow bowl.
2. In another bowl, beat eggs and milk.

Chicken:
1. In a skillet, heat 1/4 inch vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
2. Dip each tender first in the flour bowl, then the egg bowl, and then the breading bowl.
3. Fry till tenders form a single layer of breading on each side (about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes per side).

Enjoy!
