I was disappointed in this dish. I had such high hopes given all the reviews, but it was lacking for me. I expected bolder flavors and I felt like it maybe needed sugar since the tomatoes made it very acidic.

I have made this recipe a zillion times and have loved every single iteration! I have had equal success with an overnight marinade and a 30 minute marinade too.

so good I would eat it off the floor. very easy too. sauce seemed a little thin at first but just left it on the stove for a few and it thickened up just fine. Thanks for the great recipe!

I made this exactly as written. Great dish. Super tasty. Leftovers taste even better! It’s easy to make and appeals to adults and children. It also appeals to both people who are used to Indian food and people who aren’t! It does taste like Indian Butter Chicken should, without being complicated.

Very tasty, tender chicken. Perfect over rice. A little soupy but I think I’ll eat the leftovers as soup with some Naan bread!

This is one of my favorite recipes. I add some extra cayenne, because the bf and I like extra spice, and serve it over jasmine rice with naan bread. I was surprised at how EASY it is to make!

My family LOVes this recipe. I’ve made it several times, sometimes substituting a few ingredients depending on what I’ve got, and every time has been great. Definitely a keeper!
