Oh my is all I can say! It was super! I ended up making it without the cayenne pepper ( I’m a bit afraid of the heat – and it tasted great. To get all five of my family members to agree to like a dish is not easy, but this was one they all liked.

I’ve made this several times and it is fantastic! I’ve made a few changes which result in a thicker sauce – I only use an 8oz can of tomato sauce & I add in 2-3 TBSP’s of tomato paste…..and I usually use a bit less heavy cream. Try to marinate it, at least for the day – first time I made it I only marinated it for an hour or so. It really improves the flavor if you let it sit and do its thing.

I have made this several times and my husband, 3 year old daughter and I all love it. So good and a little different from the everyday. I love Indian food and do not have many recipes to it at make at home.

The flavors are so beautiful in this dish. They are not too strong and so worth the over night marination wait!

I loved this dish!!! And so did my “meat and potatoes” husband! And he’s the type that would just eat the same thing every night and doesn’t usually like new things! I actually getting ready to make it again for a potluck I’m going to this week. Thanks for posting it!

This is one of the best chicken dishes I have ever had. It is a wonderful blend of spices that is just so delicious. My family loves it and it has become a regular in our house. Excellent!

My family loves this recipe. It is absolutely fabulous and has become one of those go to recipes for family and friends. Perfect blend of spice and kick!

Each and every time I’ve made this, I forget something but it still turns out DELICIOUS! One time it was the cilantro, another time it was the lime, and the last time I made it I forgot to marinate the chicken overnight. I only let it sit around for an hour or so.
Thank you so much for a one dish recipe with such complex flavors! Chicken and rice can be so boring, but this dish livens things up a LOT!

This is my absolute favorite recipe on Tasty Kitchen! I looooove it and have to keep myself from making it every week.
I have made this after only marinating for 6 hours and it was just as good as when I left it overnight. I leave out the cilantro and it still tastes great to me.

This was really, really yummy!! I have a super-picky 4 yr old staying with us and he gobbled it up. I did cut back on the Cayenne Pepper on his behalf (1/4 tsp. only). Also, I only marinated the chicken for an hour or so. Perfection!

Just joined TK today and this was the first recipe I tried. Subbed allspice for the cardomom and 1/2 & 1/2 and paprika for the heavy cream and cayenne. Needed to make it wife safe. We absolutely love this dish! Thanks so much lillieknits!

I made this tonight. Very easy to make, and the flavor was good…even my picky 9 year old ate it! I only used a half can of petite tomatoes though (my family is not big on tomatoes) and I used a little over the half-pint of the whipping cream–not the whole pint.
Definitely a recipe to repeat, especially with company/family visiting.
