Description

Perfect for pizza night!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE CRUST:
  • 3-¼ cups All-purpose Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Rapid-rise Or Instant Yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 cup Warm Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil Plus Additional For Coating Bowl
  • FOR THE TOPPING:
  • 1 can (12.5 Oz. Size) Chunk White Chicken, Drained
  • ½ cups Ranch Dressing
  • ½ cups Hot Sauce
  • 6 cups Mozzarella Cheese

Preparation

You will also need a 16″ pizza pan.

Preparing the dough:
In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar. Add in water and olive oil. Stir ingredients together until mixture is stiff and then use your hands to continue mixing until dough is formed.

Dust a clean work surface with flour and knead dough for about 4 minutes, flouring more if necessary. Knead until dough is smooth.

Lightly oil a large bowl. Add the dough and coat with olive oil. Cover bowl with a kitchen towel and let dough rise (double in size) for an hour.

After dough has doubled in size, either freeze the ball or if ready to use, punch dough down and roll out.

Making the pizza:

Preheat oven at 400ºF

Roll dough out on a clean surface using a rolling pin until dough is even. Spray a 16″ pizza pan with cooking spray. Place dough on the pan. In a medium bowl, mix chicken, ranch dressing and hot sauce. Spread on top of crust. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 18 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown. Let sit for 4 minutes and serve.

Note: For a lighter version, use low fat mozzarella and light ranch dressing.

I used a premade crust and then did the rest per the recipe. Very good, but quite spicy with the 1:1 ranch/hot sauce ratio. I think next time, we’ll tone it down a bit and add some roasted garlic or something for some sweetness, but otherwise, it was great! Thanks!

I cheated & used a boxed mix for the crust – but I used the toppings from your recipe – VERY GOOD!!
