Description

Copy cat recipe of my favorite pizza at Pub Dog in Columbia, Maryland.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Batch Of Pizza Dough
  • 1 whole Chicken Breast, Cooked And Cut Into Thin Strips
  • ½ cups Franks Wing Sauce, Divided
  • ½ cups Pizza Sauce Or Marinara Sauce
  • 4 ounces, weight Smoked Gouda Cheese, Shredded
  • 8 ounces, weight Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
  • 2 whole Green Onions, Finely Chopped
  • Salt And Pepper
  • Ranch Dressing, For Dipping

Preparation

Preheat oven and pizza stone to 550 degrees F for at least 20 minutes.

Prepare your pizza dough (either make your own, or thaw out the store bought package of it). Roll or stretch it out to fit your pizza stone and place it on top.

Pour the hot sauce, minus 1 tablespoon, over top of the chicken in a shallow baking dish and let it sit for at least an hour.

Meanwhile, mix the other tablespoon with the tomato or marinara sauce. Spread the sauce evenly on the pizza dough, leaving a crust around the edges. Sprinkle the cheeses on top of the sauce, then layer the chicken, then sprinkle the green onions. Sprinkle salt and pepper over the pizza.

Bake for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly and the dough is puffed up and golden brown. Serve with a side of ranch dressing.

Enjoy!
