Description

Buffalo Chicken Panini!

And the best part? No panini grill required!

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Cooked Chicken Breast, Sliced Thinly
  • ½ cups Frank's Red Hot Sauce
  • 3 ounces, weight Bleu (or Gorgonzola) Cheese
  • 8 slices Bread
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

Preparation

Preheat your George Foreman Grill (or, I guess if you’re fancy-shmancy, you COULD use a panini press, but why waste the extra money?).

Brush olive oil onto one side of each of the pieces of bread. On the side that doesn’t have olive oil, place a few pieces of chicken. Add Frank’s Red Hot to desired spiciness. Place the gorgonzola cheese on top of the hot sauce and chicken and then add some more Frank’s Red Hot. Place another piece of bread with the oil side up and put onto the grill.

Close the grill and cook for about 3-5 minutes, making sure not to burn the panini. Cut the panini into a triangle. Didn’t you know that’s the way you’re SUPPOSED to cut sandwiches? None of this rectangle crap.

Also, make sure to use the actual piece made for opening the grill. The sides are NOT recommended to open the grill, since, um, they’re actually the grill, and OW.
