Description

Wash away your food sins and enjoy this light but satisfying meal!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE BURGERS:
  • 1 pound Ground Turkey
  • ¼ cups Refried Black Beans
  • 1 whole Jalapeno, Deseeded And Diced
  • ½ cups Fresh Corn
  • ½ cups Fresh Cilantro
  • 1 whole Large Egg
  • ½ cups Whole Wheat Bread Crumbs
  • ⅛ cups Lime Zest
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • Fresh Ground Pepper, to taste
  • FOR THE SPICY MAYONNAISE:
  • ½ cups Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha Sauce
  • ¼ teaspoons Lime Juice
  • FOR GARNISH (optional):
  • 1 whole Avocado, Sliced
  • 1 whole Tomato, Sliced
  • Fresh Cilantro
  • Corn On The Cob, To Serve

Preparation

Using your spotlessly clean hands, combine turkey, black beans, jalapeno, corn, cilantro, egg, bread crumbs, lime zest, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Set aside.

In a small bowl mix mayo, sriracha sauce and lime juice into a uniform mixture. Set aside.

Heat your BBQ to medium heat or heat a small amount of oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Form meat mixture into 4-6 patties and place them on the grill or pan.

Cook burgers until done, about 3-4 minutes a side.

Place the finished patties in ciabatta buns and top with spicy mayo, avocado and tomato slices and some fresh cilantro.

Serve with corn on the cob.
