Put away the beef and start using ground bison!
In a sauce pan over medium heat melt the butter for the onions. Add the onions and saute for about 3-4 minutes then add the white wine.
Cook on medium heat for about 10-15 minutes stirring occasionally
While the onions are cooking add all of the burger ingredients (except the buns and garnish) into a large bowl. Combine the mixture with your hands and form 4 round individual patties.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook patties. Cook for about 4-6 minutes on one side and then flip and cook for another 5 minutes on the other side.
Check the temperature of your meat to determine the timing for how you want the burger cooked.
When meat is done top a bun with lettuce, tomato, meat and onions.
