Description

Everything is big and beautiful in Big Sky Montana, even the burgers!

Ingredients

  • FOR THE BURGER:
  • ½ pounds Ground Beef
  • 1 Tablespoon Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs
  • 1 Tablespoon Red Cooking Wine
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Fresh Basil
  • 2 whole Minced Sun Dried Tomatoes
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Shallots
  • ½ teaspoons Garlic Salt
  • 2 slices Mozzarella
  • 4 Tablespoons Pesto Mayo
  • 2 whole Hamburger Buns
  • _____
  • FOR PESTO MAYONNAISE:
  • ¼ cups Mayonnaise
  • ½ Tablespoons Prepared Pesto

Preparation

For the burger:
Combine all the burger ingredients (except cheese, pesto mayo, and buns) into a bowl and form them into 2 perfect patties. Refrigerate for 10 minutes before grilling on your George Foreman Grill or BBQ grill so the burger holds its form and doesn’t fall apart. Cook until the burger is well done. Place slices of cheese on top of the burger and place them under the broiler until melted. Assemble your Big Sky Burger with Pesto Mayo on both sides of the bun and any other condiment you want!

For the pesto mayonnaise:
Mix the ingredients together and put them on your hamburger bun!

Between you and Melissa, I am craving a hamburger bright and early this morning. I don’t eat mayo, but pesto added to it sounds wonderful.
