Description

We altered this dish from Bobby Flay. It is my husband’s all-time favorite dish. I don’t think making it once a week would be enough for him! A wonderful, simple dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks Unsalted Butter
  • ½  Lime, Juiced
  • ¼ cups Hot Sauce
  • ¼ cups Worcheshire Sauce
  • 2 pounds Shrimp
  • Salt And Pepper
  • 1 loaf Crusty Bread

Preparation

In a large shallow baking dish, put all ingredients in except the bread and mix them gently. Add some salt and pepper to taste. Put the dish in the oven at 3750ºF. Keep an eye on the shrimp and stir them around after a few minutes to make sure they cook evenly. As soon as they are all pink, they’re done. It only takes a few minutes. You can also do this on the grill. You can also add fresh parsley when the shrimp are done if you desire. Serve with a big chunk of crusty bread (heated in the oven) and dip the bread in to pick up all those wonderful flavors. Expect to have juice dribbling down your chin and enjoy it!

Oops! I didn’t realize I did that. It’s 375 but it really doesn’t matter, just add extra time if you do it at the lower temp. Sorry!

Very good! We like things a bit spicy so I added a few dashes of cayenne pepper. For beginner cooks…I used jumbo shrimp and the total cook time was 10 minutes. Thanks for the recipe.
