Description

I cobbled these together from a couple of different recipes, and they were too good not to share. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 whole Egg
  • ½ cups Garlic And Herb Breadcrumbs
  • ½ cups Ketchup, Divided Use
  • ½ Tablespoons Garlic Powder
  • 2 pinches Cayenne Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • 3 dashes Ground Black Pepper
  • ¼ cups BBQ Sauce
  • ½ teaspoons Dried Basil, Crushed In Palm
  • ½ teaspoons Dried Oregano, Crushed In Palm

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup of ketchup, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and black pepper. (I didn’t measure the cayenne or pepper, just use to taste.) Mix until thoroughly combined (time to get your hands dirty).

Divide ground beef mixture between the 12 cups of a regular-sized muffin tin. Bake for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, combine the remaining 1/4 cup of ketchup, the bbq sauce, the basil, and the oregano. This will be your sauce.

After the 30 minutes of baking are finished, spoon about 1 teaspoon of sauce on each meatloaf and bake an additional 10 minutes.
