Description

Smokey, saucy Barbeque Ribs.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Kethcup
  • 1 cup Red Wine Vinegar
  • ½ cups Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cups Molasses
  • 1-½ teaspoon Liquid Smoke
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Rounded Of Black Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • ¼ teaspoons Onion Powder
  • 2 whole Full Racks Of Baby Back Ribs

Preparation

Combine everything (except ribs) in a sauce pan over high heat. Whisk until smooth. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes or until nice and thick.

Place ribs in foil and baste with plenty of sauce.

Bake at 250ºF for 2 hours.

Remove ribs from foil and smother with more sauce. Grill on a hot grill for 2 to 4 minutes per side, just to caramelize the sauce. You can serve with more sauce on the side if you like it saucy!

Enjoy!

This looks like an amazing recipe. I have been using a Paula Deen smoked pork pulled BBQ recipe for the past few years now and the secret to that is the liquid smoke. Then you have added the molasses, brown sugar, ketchup and red wine vinegar to that? YUM! I can tell this will be a hit before I’ve even tried it. Now if I only had ribs in the house. lol thanks

First time making ribs and found this recipe to be quite easy and not intimidating! It was too cold to turn on the BBQ, but the ribs were still good and very tender.

Fantastic sauce! My ribs weren’t quite as tender as I’d like, but it could’ve been the meat I bought. I will use the sauce on other meats too. Thank you for sharing!

I have tried many rib recipes and had more failures then I can count, but I keep trying. I saw Erin’s recipe and saw how simple, no overnight marinating, no long hours at the grill…I thought I have to try this. I DID IT!! They came out fabulous and perfect! My hubby thought they tasted just like Tony Roma’s! Thank you Erin!!
