Fantastic! Made this for dinner the other night with Johnsonville’s Irish Garlic sausage. We had bought it a few weeks ago, right before St. Paddy’s day and froze it… and I am so bummed that they don’t make it all year! My family LOVED it and wanted more. Unfortunately it seems to be a once a year deal. Bummer.
At any rate, the kids LOVED it and asked for seconds. Huge hit! Thanks for the meal idea!

This was so good. The sauce was amazing! My husband loved it. He said it was even better than the bangers and mash at an Irish Pub we have close to home…and he loves them there. That’s high praise from him. Thanks for the recipe!

Hubby made this for me for Valentines Day. He was pleasantly surprised with how it turned out, and I LOVED it! Fairly easy to put together too. We used Bratwurst from Sam’s Club.

well i can’t imagine how amazing the recipe would have been had i followed it exactly. as it was, i was out of beer so i used white wine and exchanged green onions for the kale. what a fantastic dish! btw…found the bangers at Costco – no additives! Thanks for a great recipe!

I made this for St. Patrick’s Day this year and it was a huge hit, super easy and delish. I used my own mashed potato recipe and added the kale as I was mashing. I cooked the bangers accordingly but left them on a low simmer until it was time to eat. I paired it with brussel sprout, baby cabbage, it you will! Everyone made a happy plate.

These were great! Thanks for the idea. I just made a big batch and took it to my husband and his co-workers since they have to work on St. Patty’s day. They were a big hit!

I’m not a girl who loves food like this, but made it tonight and had to say it was fabulous! I don’t have a Trader Joe’s here and have no idea as to what actual Irish Sausage is, so I purchased Boar’s Head beef knock wurst. I followed the recipe exactly and it will become one I’ll definitely go to again!
