Description

Oven-baked fish with an irresistible light breading!

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces, weight Orange Roughy Or Catfish (4-4oz. Fillets)
  • ¾ cups Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons Flour
  • ½ teaspoons Paprika
  • ½ teaspoons Kosher Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Fresh Ground Pepper
  • 1 whole Egg, Beaten
  • 2 Tablespoons Milk

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Rinse fillets and pat dry with paper towel.

In a pie plate, combine Parmesan cheese, flour, paprika, salt and pepper. In another pie plate, combine milk and beaten egg. Dip fillet in egg mixture and then coat with Parmesan cheese mixture.

Place in a well greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until fish easily flakes with a fork.

This was very easy and tasty too! We’ve been eating a lot of fresh fish that my husband caught ice fishing (before the ice got too thin), but I was looking for a way to prepare it other than fried!
