Description

Flavorful Greek chuck top blade (flat-iron) steak seasoned to perfection!

Ingredients

  • 1 whole (8 Oz. Size) Beef Chuck Top Blade (Flat Iron Steak)
  • 1 whole Lemon (for Zest And Juice)
  • 1 Tablespoon Greek Imported Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Rosemary
  • ½ teaspoons Greek Oregano
  • 1 cup Grape Tomatoes (any Color, Halved)
  • ¼ cups Pitted Kalamata Olives, Halved
  • ½ cups Feta Cheese Crumbles

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375 F. On a clean cutting board cut the flat-iron steak in half horizontally. Zest the lemon and set aside. Cut lemon in half.

In a skillet (12″) over medium-low heat add Greek olive oil and butter. Once melted together add the two flat iron steaks and sprinkle with salt, black pepper, rosemary and Greek oregano. Sauté steaks for 2 minutes on each side. Add halved grape tomatoes, olives, lemon zest and juice and cover skillet (using foil is fine).

Place the skillet in the oven and bake at 375 F for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and serve each steak onto an individual plate and add Feta cheese crumbles. This is excellent with a Greek salad and side vegetable dish.

Enjoy this easy, flavorful Greek dish!
